Effects and Pedalboard:

I use various FX pedals – the key to my set up is loops. I use Ableton Live software to loop multiple guitar parts, then drop bass underneath using the Boss OC-3 Octave Pedal. Using Ableton in this way allows me to create all the chords and melodies live at the gig, bringing parts in and out, building up textures and generally sounding like more than one person :-D Here’s some specifics:

Apple Powerbook G4 15″ 1.5ghz 2GB RAM running Ableton Live 8, MidiStroke, Proxi and iKey

M-Audio Firewire 410 Audio Interface

2x Apple iMac Keyboards (foot controllers)

Behringer FCB-1010 MIDI Foot Controller

Pedalboard Mark II/5

Effects Pedals (Right to Left):

Boss DF-2 Super Disortion and Feedbacker

Boss DD6 Digital Delay

Yamaha DSC-20M Digital Stereo Chorus

Yamaha DDS-20M Digital Delay Sampler

Boss OC-3 Super Octave

(I also use a Behringer Micro HD Hum Destroyer to kill unwanted ground noise.)
