DLS vs SP tour support review – Bristol

Just seen another review for the Dan Le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip tour. This time it’s the Bristol Academy gig, here reviewed by Ellie Treagust, click here to read it!

Borderline – Kid Carpet

Borderline last night. Venue sounded great, crowd were wicked and the set felt quite tight! Very enjoyable.

We we’re opening for Kid Carpet, who I’ve never seen before. Very impressive. Awesome stage presence. Really enjoyed his set, especially the MPC work and the charity shop keyboard sounds! Only downside is he moves around so much on stage, I couldn’t get a clear picture of him! Damn my Argos camera. Anyway, I’m sure we’ll share the same bill again sometime soon.

Our next gig that I’m aware of is at the Ivyhouse in Nunhead on the 8th May. See you there!

  • Thanks to @danlesac and @Scroobiuspipyo for inviting us down for one more support last night! And good luck with the Irish leg of the tour! #

If you haven’t already, check them out on myspace. Tonight was the first time I’ve seen them with the new line up. It’s definitely working! Sounding tighter than ever. Bangin.

If you didn’t manage to catch us, we’re at the Borderline tomorrow supporting Kid Carpet…

Sound of Rum in Cardiff

Just got back from the gig supporting Dan Le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip at the Barfly in Cardiff. Really nice crowd, even though we we’re on quite early! Thanks for enjoying it with us!

We’ll be back in Cardiff on the 22nd of May, more details to follow soon.
