Tour Days 15 & 16 – Mission Complete
Big up to the Brighton crowd for last night. Concorde II has got to be one of the nicest venues we’ve played in all tour. Great audience too! Also thanks to the people in Oxford who were feeling it two nights ago. Sorry we didn’t manage to get any pictures of you! And with that, our leg of the danlesacvsscroobiuspip tour is now complete.
Thanks to everyone who came down early enough to catch our sets. It was great to see so many of you enjoying it! Thanks to everyone who wore the tattoo’s, watched the DVD’s or just came over and said hello, you all made the tour for us!
Finally, a big thank you to Rebecca, Steve, James, Dan and of course, Scroobius Pip for having us along. Good luck with the Irish and European leg of the tour!
Tour Day 14 – Bristol!
As always, Bristol was amazing. One of the best gigs all tour. Thankyou all.
Big up to Dean for sorting out the bass amp.
And big thanks to Jeff for feeling it so much!
Tour Day 13 – Birmingham
Great gig today. Here’s the Birmingham crowd showing their love.
Thanks again to everyone who’s feeling it. Tour is going great, looking forward to Bristol tomorrow!
This morning we bumped into our friends from La Shark outside the Southampton Travelodge! They’re touring with Paloma Faith. Really nice to see some other people from South out on the road doing their thing.
Lastly, we think we might have come up with a potential album cover:
thoughts?…
Tour Day 12 – Portsmouth – Wedgewood Rooms
Portsmouth
Live loop failure! Such is the nature of what we do, I had a bit of a disaster during our opening tune tonight! We had to stop playing half way through and start the tune again… It was the right thing to do, there’s nothing like listening to an out of time, badly looped guitar, especially when the tune is supposed to be in 15/8 time. Still, I think we recovered! You seemed to be in to it by the end!
To add to our dilemma, our bass amp blew up whilst we were sound checking at Koko! Apologies to the crowd for the lack of bone shattering sub. Thanks to everyone who was feeling it nonetheless!
Anyway, here’s a pic of B Dolan and one of Dan and Pip. All three rocked it tonight.
Tour rolls on – Birmingham tomorrow!
