Leeds, Cockpit. Sorry to everyone who came down and missed us, we were on at 7:30! Very early night for all the acts.
Thanks to everyone who made it down and enjoyed it.
Don’t worry, we’ll be back…
For the first time on the tour we let loose as a band. Here’s us enjoying the Leeds Loop experience:
Ferry is constantly adding to his life experience. Here’s a shot of some mean perpendicular van parking outside the house we stayed in last night. p.s. thanks to Sophie for having us!
And finally, the infamous “Rum Shake”:
That’s 7 people. Not quite a record attempt. Let’s see what we can do in Liverpool.
Wicked gig yesterday at the Rescue Rooms in Nottingham, great crowd. Thanks for making us so welcome.
Solid day today. A lot happened. Got some good mixes down, great performance from Polarbear:
Ferry got a new cymbal:
And we made our first trip in the rental van! Off on tour tomorrow, going to have to get used to it.
29th: Brightonhome, phew.
We’ll keep you updated on how the tour is going. Check back for more.
Great day today, lyrics down on half the tracks. Sounding pretty excellent! Charlie came down too.
Apologies for low quality photo’s, we turned the lights off to get the mood going…
Mixing caps on tomorrow…
First of all, sorry to anyone who came down to see us at the Finsbury Town Hall. The band who provided the drum kit had to leave, so we couldn’t play. Apologies to all.
Here’s a pic of Toy Toy playing their set, which was tight!
On a lighter note, great day in the studio today. Rory’s got a brand new studio, which is great:
G from Speakers Corner Quartet came down help produce. Always good to have an extra set of ears, very happy with the way things are sounding.
Tried out a new version of Can’t Be Saved.
Couple of videos of Archie and Ferry improvising between takes – (whilst Rory was fixing the desk!)
New direction? We’re in there for the next seven days. Gonna blitz it! Here’s to over egging the Sound of Rum egg pudding!
